Advantages of Robotic Grinding/Polishing System
Quality
Robotic systems ensure superior, consistent quality with uniform finishes, fewer defects, and perfect repeatability, eliminating human variability
Efficiency
The combination of faster cycle times and continuous operation leads to a substantial increase in overall production output
Adaptability
Robots can access and polish complex shapes and geometries that are difficult or impossible for humans to reach
Safety
Robots can handle hazardous materials and perform tasks in dangerous environments, minimizing worker exposure to risks
Choose Grinding/Polishing Robot
- Processing object: Clearly define the material to be polished (such as metal, ceramic, etc.) and the shape of the workpiece (plane, curved surface, etc.).
- Accuracy requirements: Determine the required polishing accuracy (such as roughness, finish, etc.) according to the requirements of the product surface treatment.
- Load capacity: Select a robot with appropriate load capacity according to the weight of the polishing tool and the force required during the polishing process.
- Working range: Make sure that the robot's working range can cover the size of the workpiece, especially large or complex-shaped workpieces.
- Flexibility: For complex curved surfaces or diverse workpieces, choose a 6-axis robot while a 4-axis robot may be more suitable for simple flat polishing.
- Gantry welding robot

Grinding/Polishing Workstation for Different Object

Auto Parts Polishing
Such as engine blocks, body panels, wheels, etc., need fine grinding and polishing to improve surface finish and wear resistance.

Stainless Steel Grinding
Remove scratches, oxide layers, welding spots and other defects on the surface of stainless steel to achieve the desired smoothness and brightness.

Metal Mold Grinding
Robot grinding is widely used in the metal mold industry, especially for the following types of metal molds: die casting molds, injection molds, forging molds, stamping molds.
